If it works well - if - that's a positive feature for me. I use a colour temp app on my Android tablet at night and it's much nicer.

I haven't really kept abreast of the Kobo hardware developments, how is the overall stability of the units these days? When I was last considering a Kobo, it was the original Touch, and many reviews were fairly disparaging. My beloved PRS-650 is starting to lose battery life, and I'm thinking about upgrading finally. Not so much thinking about the large one, but if I'm reading the thread here correctly, a 6" one will also be offered in the same vein?

It's only 212ppi you would be better getting a Glo HD which has 300ppi. The difference is significant.

There are stability problems with the Kobo Glo that I own. The interface is compromised when the battery gets below 90% power. Books get marked as finished by mistake. Kobo fonts are great, but the devices have problems that Kindles have ironed out. Having said that, I still will buy another Kobo soon, hoping that the trouble of my current device was an unfortunate blip.

No stability problems here. I've had my Glo HD since January. I only charge once a month and I read four to five hours a day.

I am so sad and underwhelmed. WTF? Why did they even produce this thing? I wanted the flat screen (no raised bezel) and water proofing. Since they already have the Glo HD in the line-up, I don't see any point or logical reason why they are now selling the Aura 2. Makes NO sense whatsoever.

You have the older GLO. Blossom (and I) have the newer Glo HD. Neither of us have any stability problems, or any other problems, with our devices. My daughter uses the older GLO and it does have some problems, but that is probably my fault, as I have messed around with it a lot (has a different internal card in it, and I messed up the slider switch).
