Amazon had an Echo Dot release deal where you could get the Dot and a Philips Hue White Starter Kit for $99.99. The deal is no longer available on Amazon but Best Buy US now has it in store until Saturday Oct 29.

I was prepared to pay full price for both so I was very pleased to save $20.

Best Buy Offers Free Shipping for the Holidays

Best Buy usually offers free shipping on orders over $35 so this could end up being a great deal for stocking stuffers or smaller items. I was waiting for Target to officially announce it and they finally did so. It starts now and runs through 01 Jan 2017. It also includes free return shipping.

I want to get my parents both new phones. Trying to get them to tell me what they want is another story.

My dad is using my mom's old Samsung mini and she went back to a cheap flip phone. But I know he is having issues with the tiny keyboard, etc.
