You have it on your 700? Your 700 whats?? You have it sitting atop your pile of 700 avatars? Your 700 socks (is your washing machine working yet?)? It must be because we (I) haven't heard of Zelda and 700 in the same sentence before now.

Good grief - you mean to say you both missed the panic two days after getting it when Zelda thought it was broken?

(Of course, the fact that the device entry still hasn't been updated is a bit confusing )

it's new (although actually any one of those explanations could be true. ) i have had it long enough to scare myself half to death when i thought i broke it though... word of caution, probably best to avoid feeding it rtf files larger than 12mo it doesn't like that (early dictionary conversion experiment gone horribly wrong).

right, am knows (that's what you get for not reading EVERY SINGLE ONE of the new posts !!! )

i'll update it one of these days, when i get around to it. i've got a strong nostalgia for my eb1150 and i feel a bit unfaithful to it.

I used to have a Palm Pilot that I read on, but I don't feel unfaithful to that. Mostly because it met an untimely demise when I fell into the pool with it.

see, there are still some situations when it may be preferable to read a paper book. (so what exactly is the story behind that anyway ?)

(oh, and yes, my washing machine is working again now, meaning i replaced the one plastic beater which had broken completely off. of course, when i did that, i discovered that the other two plastic beaters were about to break off, the clips on one side are already broken and they are only hanging on by the other side. so my 700 socks are clean at least. that reminds me i should perhaps go start a machine... you have to wear so many clothes in wintertime !!)

We had just bought this 90 year old home that we live in. It has the oldest in-ground pool in town. So, to dig it up and put n a flower bed would have been considered sacriledge (sp?) so I was trying to get it to clear itself. At that time there was an onld, manky hurrican fence around it covered with jungle-like grape vines that made for about a foot clearance in one spot to walk around. Well, I was walking around it, dumping toxic chemicals into it, and slipped and in I went. The Palm and the pager from work were both dead. I mourned the Palm.

hmm... this is also the story of how you turned into the joker, isn't it ??

(why am i not surprised that you shed no tears for the work pager ? )

I did similar to my HP [model number...I think it started with a "6"]. I tackled my brother-out-law into the surf, forgetting that it was in my pocket. It didn't like it much (and after a few days, the battery swelled up real good and helped "disassemble" it). I wasn't sure how the boss would react, since he'd bought it for me a year previously, but all he said was "Well, what one do you want now?". I wish the iPhone 3G was out at the time.

Cheers,
Marc

That's the point, nothing quite works. What do you get when you cross an Enormous Octopus with a Local Area Network? See? Not funny.

"Taylor!"

"Yeah, Lefty? How are you?"

"Fine, fine, very shronky. Do it again!!"

"Shronky? Never mind. Do what again? And how is Hugo?"

"Hugo isn't very shronky today. Make Zelda laugh again!"

"Well, making Zelda laugh is one of my two driving motivations in life, but may I ask your interest?"

"What's the other? Motivation?"

"Making Zelda... well. Never mind that too. Making her shronky, I suppose?"

"What? She can't be shronky! That's funny, she's not a sock! Make her laugh!!"

"Of course. Silly me. I'll try. Why?"

"Because when she laughs she wiggles her toes and when she wiggles her toes I feel shronky all over."

"Ah, Lefty. You and I have a mutual interest, I see. But where is Hugo?"

"Taking guitar lessons."
