Wish I saw this earlier. Newegg had manufacturer refurb 4GB Clip Zips for $20 last week. I picked one up because my venerable Clip's headphone jack has been going for a little while.

I'll also add that Gamestop is clearing out 1st Gen Nexus 7 32GB tablets for $99. They don't have any online, but you can do a store search here:

Yeah they started doing this last year and ruined their site. You have to be careful I wouldn't trust any 3rd party through them. It's hard enough to go through their Customer service without dealing with a merchant too.

It's best to stick to Amazon or eBay for merchants. Both take bad sellers serious.

Here's a doorbuster from Best Buy that was announced on air from a Little Rock TV station.The Kindle Fire HD 16GB (1st Gen) will be on sale for $100. This is last year's model and has two features the current model lacks - front cam and HDMI. Watch the clip below.

Here's hoping we see the Nexus 7.2 on sale this year. If not, I suppose I'll have to wait until next year (as with the Nexus 5).

Recent news on the possible appearance of a Nexus 8 makes me wonder whether we might see deals on the Nexus 10 on BF. It hasn't been updated, after all -- perhaps for a reason.

If Amazon allowed direct app purchases on Google Play, I might have been interested in the KF HD+ 8.9 Wifi. The original KF was easily jailbroken, but I haven't kept up on their later models.

Sure glad I got my N7 during the OfficeMax 20% off coupon sales last Aug ($216 for a 32GB N7). That was definitely a BF sale come early.

Times ticking away for the holiday season. If they don't announce larger tablets soon, I'm afraid we won't see them until next year.

Strapping Young Master Tubemonkey:

It's a Hank too expensive at present, but I've been peeled-eyeing the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition. According to this post on Head-fi, it's one of the very few devices that can run JACK2 (a/k/a Professional Audio Framework) and play 24/96 HD soundfiles. The 2560 x 1600 screen can be described as either killer or to die for (depending on whom you'd prefer to expire of ocular ecstasy).

Personally, I'd settle for the 32GB model, since the 10.1 2014 has a microSD slot.

Wow I'm impressed I just got a notice from Fedex Deliver Manager that I got a package coming today. It's the tablet I ordered from Walmart. I got free shipping and they ship as fast as Amazon.

Original delivery dates was between November 11-13 so I got to say I may have to shop there more often.

So it looks like no sleep for me again. I am going to so crash this weekend.

I still been stalling but think I will order tonight..Got an email the other day about some old points I had laying around from my Best Western Rewards when we used to take lots of vacations...traded the bulk in for a Walmart Gift Card so that takes some of the sting off it. Is that bad?
