I'm on the last part of Book two of the Psy-Changling series. I do believe I will get Book three with that credit I got for returning the first book of the Crossfire series.
Those who belong to Audible it is soooo easy to return a book you don't like. I bought it last July and with a few clicks I had my credit back instantaneous. I love that they give us a year to return a Audible and it's all automated.

That was not Blossom, that was me and this is what I said:

Tying these two sentences together was probably not wise. I wasn't saying that blurbs should be put in spoilers. In the first I was expressing how I felt about the pairings being revealed, and in the other how I felt further discussion of the series should be handled.

I'm reading book 7 now and I never for once thought that that hero would get a book, and I thought the heroine had died. If I'd known about that pairing beforehand I know the 'surprise' of the revelation would've been lessened.

Sometimes I don't read the blurbs of upcoming books in a series and I learnt this the hard way. I was reading a romantic suspense where the heroine was being stalked and threatened by an unknown individual. I was 3/4 way through the book and I was enjoying it so much I went to check the blurb in the 2nd book. And yes, in that blurb they revealed the stalker. It's a few years since and I'm still upset about it

Obviously I don't do that for every series; it's a judgment call and one I felt was necessary for the Psy-Changeling because of the Ghost story arc. But ... these are my issues and I apolgize for expressing them in a way that made people think they should put all discussion in spoiler tags. I'm just very sensitive about the whole thing. I last visited my Goodreads update page on Tuesday morning; I went there, saw the Heart of Obsidian book cover and I ran way and never went back

I don't remember who said that they loved Laura Kinsale's Flowers From the Storm, but I totally missed that it was released Tuesday. So if you have a credit, it is at audible. I loved the sample. And for those newbies, this is a book that was released in 1992. Here's the blurb:

I'm now 75%, and the sex is more tied to the plot. But the plot is moving pretty slowly. I guess that is why she decided to not end it at 3. But I think I will look at the library for the last 2. JMHO

Thanks for letting us know, I pretty much decided to take it off my list then, especially for the price. For $30 [this and the last 2 books] I'll just let them have their happily ever after in my mind.

I finished Visions of Heat last night. I liked it. I don't think it was as good as the first one. I found it anticlimatic, I gave it 4 stars. I think I will take a break from the series and read something non paranormal. The next book's couple doesn't really appeal to me as much.

It's funny because she claims she'd make more with a new series instead. I can't imagine reading five of that type of book about the same couple. So I'm happy to spend my book budget on rock stars instead!

I loved that book! August 20 can't get here quick enough. I am so waiting on the sequel! I read it before I read Thoughtless. So it holds a special place in my heart. I do love rock stars books too.

I'm off to find something to read. This may take awhile.
