It seems to me that evaluating two packages at the same time is folly, one can't be certain where the problem originates.
Ok, this has just happened to me, too. I'm running the stable CM7 release and have changed nothing on my NC. It occurred when the screen went dark and I touched it to wake it up. After copying the epub file I tried the new one. This time it occurred when I swiped the screen to enlarge the text. Alkiko is not having the problem.

I highly recommend you contacting support and filling out a ticket.

http://mantano.zendesk.com/home

They are very responsive, and it sounds like I was the first person to report this issue. The more reports they get, the better idea they may have of trying to fix it.

I'm using a 3.2" screen and have several times up the font size when turning a page.

I really like an option to disable auto menu as when I try to turn the page it pops up sometimes instead turning the page.

It also doesn't seem to remember the brightness settings.
Every time I reopen to book I have to reset it back to where I like it.

Does anyone know how to turn hyphenation off?
It looks odd on some books it wants to hyphenate almost every line.

Is there a trick to getting custom fonts to show italics or bold text?
When I use a custom font it works okay but all italics\bold is in the default font that comes with the reader.

Under Settings, un-set "Tap for toolbar" That worked for me.

Brightness seems to work for me or at least I haven't noticed anything to that effect. I just set the brightness, exited, came back in and it was still where I set it. Could this be a device-specific problem?

Thank You! I didn't know what that option did. No more menu popping up!

I suppose the brightness problem could be device specific. None of my other apps have that problem though but it defiantly does not keep the brightness setting on my Vortex.

Hi, Joseph, I am one of those people. I had asked for the ability to create folders within the reader, so that I can sort books out by a topic. Tags are useful to a certain extent but folders are much better.

Thank you!

It would be great if Mantano could use the same database/library as Calibre. Full access to all metadatata without any conversions. All books listed, but only allow epubs and pdfs to open would be fine. Just write a copy of (part of) the current Calibre library to the device. And full access!

When Calibre becomes multiuser Mantano could even allow access to the "live" Calibre database over WiFi.

To the one who mentioned database corruption issue with CM7, please try another SD card. It solved my problem.

Cheers.

Ok, so after upgrading to the latest firmware on my Pocketbook IQ, I found that I no longer have Mantano on it. I had done a backup of my apps, but apparently Mantano and Google Docs weren't backed up. I have no access to WiFi at my current location, but I have internet access. Can the apk be downloaded from somewhere, and what will I need to do to be able to use the full app, which I paid for?

I'm not too impressed.. I downloaded and installed it. Imported a few books in, went to let my dog out and when I came back it said my trial period had expired, Did I want to purchase. Heck, I don't think I got 10 minutes to test it, I never openned a book..No, I think I"ll not purchase when I can't try it and the other functions made me force a close... Too bad , it might be a good ereader.

yeah, i'm not too impressed either. had a similar trial-expired message and so far no one has bothered to really respond to it, either here or after I opened an official support ticket. oh well, these things come and go ... and another will be along soon.
