Reality is everywhere. Even here on this forum. Why does everyone just assume any ideas differing from theirs or with no "factual" evidence are worthless ideas? Objectivity? Science? These are man made conceptions. Useful up to a point, to which we are rapidly approaching.

So let's all have our free Kindles shipped to us by Amazon, ok what then? I will come onto mobileread and figure out how to disable the advertising, circumventing numerous laws in the process. What does this mean? Has Amazon been economically harmed by mobileread?

Oh, I hope that's not the case! Aristotle had quite a lot to say about avoiding the sorts of logical fallacies that Giggleton is making.

The only way I'd use a Kindle with ads would be if it was free. Or a minimal charge like $10. $25 off the usual price just isn't near enough of a savings make it worth tolerating ads to me. But then I'm one who absolutely hates shopping with a passion.

But it also comes with special offers available nowhere else worth more than its selling price.

Yeah, but that's why I added the qualifier. I think he's just mashing a lot of half-understood concepts together and trying to be terribly clever. It was amusing for a while, but now it's getting old.

Sorry serious contradiction of terms... using logical and giggleton in same sentence...

logic is a tool, an imperfect one at that. There are others that serve better. Is it logical to hold onto logic without questioning logic itself?
