Hi, not sure if it has been mentioned but I would love to see bedtime/downtime available under parental settings (let's be honest I probably need this setting too). I.e. the Kobo is unavailable during certain hours, just shows a set homepage/screensaver.

Hello,

Is this a way to show a book cover in full size without opening the book ? I mean right click > details > show cover or something like that ?

Thank you,

Other than opening the book and then putting it into sleep mode (assuming you have configured the settings in Energy saving and privacy), I am not aware of any other method for showing the cover full screen.

Disabling the ability to see the reading time stats on kepubs / the activity menu (and/or the ability to disable the activity menu/tracking in the first place) would be amazing

a feature i would LOVE to see is one that lets me highlight a word or phrase, add an annotation, and then have that annotation appear for every occurrence of the phrase throughout the entire book… like a persistent, custom glossary or dictionary.

say i’m reading a sci-fi book full of proper nouns or made-up sci-fi terms. the character Chet Jawline mentions that the Klezmer drive on their Dingleberry-class ship has failed and now they’re lost in the Hemorrhoid nebula and need to wait for Blasto Laserman to come rescue them.

i’d like to be able to highlight the term “Chet Jawline”, type an annotation like “captain of the Bollocks VII; mortal enemies with Blasto Laserman” — and then any subsequent appearance of that term in the book, i can tap on it and see my little note to remind me who the guy is or where the place is. or maybe even just navigate to a virtual page/chapter to read through my glossary, then go back to the page i had been reading.

Why not dream big and ask for "Chet Jawline" to be highlighted in every book in which they is mentioned?

that would certainly be nice, but i imagine it’s a bit too much to expect of a dev team. how to be sure that the glossary only applies to books in that series/cycle by A. Authorguy, and not colliding with a different, unrelated, legally distinct Chet Jawline in a different series by G. Bookman?

i think leaving the feature per-book would suffice. a user could theoretically associate this glossary file with other books via some manual process in the UI, if desired.
