Actually, I was expecting you to tell me that there is no butter in apple butter. That's true, of course, except that Paula will no doubt find a way to stick a stick o' butter in it somehow. So, thought the doggie, why not google "Paula Deen Apple Butter Recipe"? I did and this is what I found:

In an interview, she related that she was grilling hamburgers for her & her husband, was looking for the buns and saw the box of donuts on the counter and thought "Why not?" They both ate them, and agreed to never again do it - although both claimed to be glad they tried it once.
