I always do. Can't sleep without them. I even need at least a sheet over me... And they said it would be hot this week. I want our bedroom to be finished, we'll have a ceiling fan there.

Hazy, hot, and humid. Again.

With two teens in the house, we don't have enough privacy for clothing to be optional.

But even if I skip the PJs, I often like a sheet over me. For one thing, it prevents some bites by those STUPID BUGS!

(Oh, wait, this isn't the vent & rant thread....)

Ah, but if you remove your clothes then you will undoubtedly have more privacy because the teens will run away out of sheer embarrassment.
This could be a real advantage if you need some quiet time.

sweet fuzzy squirrels on a cracker it was HOT today !!! it must have been at least 35 outside or more. i shut all the windows when i got up so luckily inside it stayed relatively cooler ; "only" around 33. at 21:00 it was still hotter outside than inside but now it seems to be going down ; apparently it's 31 in here right now.

i put the cats in the sink and doused them with water to cool them off, so i've had 2 spiky little not-hedgehogs of my very own today.

I'm guessing you didn't have the same scratching issue that Dylrob had with pets in water.

Have you offered the not-hedgehogs a bed of ice? It works for the local university's bulldog mascot on hot game days. His owners put a bag of ice in his doghouse.

wow ! that's pretty extreme. i don't actually have that much ice. or any ice, in fact. although i'm pretty tempted to do that for myself. it didn't cool off at all last night, 30° in my bedroom all night (well, at 4 in the morning, and at 8 also, and although i was sleeping in between i'm pretty sure it was the same) and it's been just as hot or hotter all day so i'm not feeling too good as a result. i really don't like it when it's this hot. luckily it's supposed to cool off by tomorrow a bit. it looks stormy outside and i'm just praying it will rain and cool everything down. otherwise i might die.

That's one advantage of not living in a city. The temperature goes down faster if there are no buildings to hold the heat. But it's not really cooling down today and they promised us a lot of rain, thunder, wind and hail. We just had about 5 minutes of rain. There has also been some wind but that was about body temperature (at least, it didn't cool me off...), only the lightning is rather spectacular (but far enough away).
