We are still here. A few small leaks in our northern facing windows but nothing too bad. Lucas is sleeping after waking up for a midnight top off. Cooper is on the bed with us because his bed has been displaced by a tray table holding some pots to collect the drips and he is a bit scared.

Winds have dropped already. Hopefully we make it through the night with power. If not, Lucas will join us in the master bed.

ProfCrash - I hope your power stays on. I did hear when they were advising people turn the cold factor down on freezers to make sure food was frozen very solid in case of power outage.

Kicking back in the hotel room with a cup of keemun tea. For some reason they upgraded my room, giving me a corner room on the 8th floor overlooking the harbor... with four queen size beds! This room is three times larger than my living room at home. I'm trying to decide which bed to sleep in... I got some interesting photos on my ride up here. I found a very rural mountain village and most of the houses had the old traditional thatched peaked roofs. Pretty to see! I managed to get some photos of the area before the rains washed me out. Tomorrow I'm hopping for some seacoast scenery before the rains start up again.

LOL. We could use the beds. We have powerless friends joining us today. Three kids aged four months, one year, and two years old. With two dogs. Of course, Lucas has decided that he has to be held making it hard to prepare.
