Coyote Waits is the tenth in the Leaphorn and Chee series by Tony Hillerman. It has dropped to $1.99 at Kindle and Kobo US. I'm quite fond of this series, not least because my dad's family is from this area, so I recognize a lot of the settings and places in the books.

Death Comes eCalling is a "modernized" rewrite of Death and Faxes, published in 1996, which is the first title in the Molly Masters series by Leslie O'Kane. Although I haven't read this book, I'm pretty sure I'm not a fan in general of rewriting books just to catch up with technology, but Ms. O'Kane didn't consult me . The Painted Queen is the last in the Amelia Peabody series by Elizabeth Peters, finished by Joan Hess. It has dropped to $1.99 at Kindle and Kobo US. Last time it dropped in price, it was for a very short time, so grab it if you want it!

I got the first one on sale, several years ago. The characters' relationships evolve, so I do recommend reading this series in order. At least, that's how I'm doing it.
