Just relax and enjoy it ..... it is certain that you will need to take time to get used to it .. but life does NOT end just because this phase is over .... there is more left that you can do .... !!!!

Retirement is the new "20's" .....

Glad you're there safe KK. Come back soon, or rather go home soon.

Glad you arrived safely. Apparently, some places in Mexico are pretty safe, as some sites are recommended for retirement. I hope that's the case where you are. Here we only hear about Mexican cities when there's major trouble in them, and I suspect it colors our perception of the entire country.

Don't forget to find something to occupy your time and give you a little exercise. Don't be like those who wither and die within a year of retirement. Remember the late Boston Pops conductor Arthur Fiedler's adage: "You rest, you rot!"

Good luck!

I'd wish you luck but I'm too green with envy. Oh, wait, I'm a moderator. I guess the green is just a natural state.

Best of luck. Get a hobby! Get out from under her feet!

You know, every city in America large enough to have a detective branch in their PD is so incredibly dangerous to live in. Murders every day of the week. At least that's what I get from watching TV!

There are some fantastic places in Mexico that are safer than some places in the US. You just have to apply some common sense.

Is that like sun-cream/sun-screen? If so, can you recommend a good brand? The only one I've heard of is from someone called Tom Paine, and he doesn't seem to be answering his emails.

(And, to be OT, I'm currently trying to re-grow my eyebrows and recover from burns after briefly venturing into one of the other websites discussing the K3 and its deliveries.)
