I haven't read that many mystery novels in a couple of decades. Though the soft spot for dogs is spot on.

Only when going barefoot. That's why I always wear cotton socks, even sleeping. No cold feet with socks on.
(Funnily, I've never suffered from cold hands and wear gloves only when it's several degrees below freezing).

PBM feels sympathy for all animals, even snakes, insects and such.

(Interesting timing. A neighbor from down the street was just hospitalized after being bitten by a copperhead snake. We only have two venomous snakes in New Jersey, and my neighborhood is in copperhead habitat. I'm hoping people don't overreact. I've never seen a copperhead in the area but I have seen about 6 or 8 species of snakes in the back yard -- from small DeKay and garter snakes that eat slugs and insects to milk snakes that eat mice and other rodents. I'd much rather have a few snakes than a lot more bugs and mice. End rant.)

TPBM enjoys being out in light sunshowers.

Absolutely. And a baseball cap or other brimmed hat, too. I can't take the glare.

TPBM is always shod, except for bed and the shower (and the beach).

If you count wearing socks as shod, then yes, even in bed, and I never visit the beach. If socks don't count, then not always. But yeah, I'm barefoot basically only in the shower.

PBM is the most introverted person they know.

Depends on the situation. When I bake ham and cheese sandwiches in the oven, I do it with rye bread, preferably black, but brown will do as well. When I eat cold sandwiches with lightly salted salmon fillet, I prefer white bread.

PBM loves oven-baked blood sausages in winter.

I'll have to say no. I've had blood sausage a couple of time but it's not on my list of foods that I will hunt down. Blood sausage is a rarity in Canada.

The PBM loves a full (English, Irish, Scottish. etc.) breakfast on a cold winter morning.
