Water. Right next to a bowl of chocolate ice cream with butterscotch. Want to guess who woke up right as I finished making my snack? I giggled when I picked him up at day care and they were happy to report that he slept for 45 minutes in his crib. The little guy is not a fan of napping in the crib at home so I am happy to hear that this trait exists outside the home.

He uses formula for the most part. He just prefers being held to the crib. I'll put him Into the crib to sleep when he falls asleep. It will take 3 attempts to get him to sleep in the crib. He sleeps in the crib fine at night although he wakes up at 6 am and will sleep another 2 hours with me if I hold him while I sleep.

Good morning, everyone! My watch says it's Saturday, but my brain keeps thinking Friday. Ahmad's "English Breakfast" tea in my cup, a bowl of rice and a plate of fake crab for breakfast, with a bit of miso soup just for fun. It's amazing that they can take an ordinary white fish like Pollack and make it look and taste 'almost' like the real thing. They've got it down to such a science these days that all the sushi shops are using it instead of real crab. Grind up some tasteless fish, add some crab juice and use glutton as a binder, extrude it, and voila! All natural and dirt cheap crab!

Gonna go look for a higher quality web cam today. I upgraded my video card so I may as well upgrade the feeds for it too!

Just finishing up a cinnamon dulce latte. My little splurge for getting all my errands done. It was great to sit out on the patio and enjoy the quiet while I read and enjoyed my latte. *sigh* I wish there were more times like that.

Thanks, Dreams! It gets better and better every day! I have a cup of my favorite Keemun tea next to me, all my computer installations went smooth as silk (which is just this side of frightening) and I'm marveling at the difference now using a new HD web cam backed by my new video board. Amazing what a few little gigabytes can do...

Juice in my cup. The Hubby is on his way to the store to pick up some infant Tylenol. Lucas has his first fever. Right now it is pretty low, 100 degrees on the dot. We called the doctor, she has Saturday hours, to find out the protocol if it goes higher. Not a big deal but still not happy.

Amazing what a difference a good HD webcam makes, Stitchawl. I use one all the time for video calls to my coworkers, since I live and work in Paradise, and they're all stuck in town. The difference between mine, which is a good HD, and most of theirs which tend toward the ones built into their laptops, is very noticable.

Starting out the day with fresh squeezed orange juice, to go with fresh bagels made by my DW, and the maple cured and smoked sockeye salmon I made over Labour Day. Yum.

He is doing better already. He feels cooler but his cheeks are still red. He seems to be his normal self. Hubby had him on his tummy for tummy time and he rolled over. He also grasped a rattle on his own for the first time. So he does not seem to be feeling bad. I am looking at it as a good practice run. We have the infant Tylenol and a better idea as to when to use it.
