Just saw Pushing Daisies on netflix. Fantastic. I remember seeing commercials and thinking it would either be 1) crap or 2) cancelled quickly. Surprised to discover it got a second season.

One of the problems with how quickly shows get cancelled these days after 3 shows is it makes me want to take fewer chances. No sense in getting attached if I'm not even going to be able to see the first full order or have any sort of resolution at all. That'd be like picking up a book that has trick ink where after you read a couple of chapters it all disappears.

yep! that one! it's not terribly far from where I teach skiing. sometimes a group of us would go there. I LOVED that series! I actually had to change the nights my Girl Scout Troop met when they changed nights

I loved Northern Exposure, but with Joel gone, it wasn't the same.

Star Trek Enterprise was really great.
