So you can't annotate txt or html files?

And is there a way to save webpages as an ebook on the boox?

No, you can't so far. Maybe it will be possible with next firmwares.

I have "Ädd Annotate" on the menu if I open Epub files.

But yeah, it seems that the function is actually only for highlighting.

Hmm, if I open epub, I haven't this function in my menu...

EDIT:
But I have firmware from my distributor, which could differ in something. And probably this is a reason why I haven't this function.

So, I'm interested in which format could you highlight? In all of them?

Got mine two days ago!

Hi there,

FWIW, I received my Boox 60 two days ago from elektronischlesen.de. So far, the service and feedback I received was a very positive experience. I also follow and posted on the official Onyx Forums. They too are being actively monitored and you usually get a helpful reply there.

I haven't had much time to intensively work with the device yet, but the first impressions are quite positive. The device looks and feels great. The SD card slot is a tad bit too deep inside the housing, it's a bit tricky to insert and remove cards without using a pen or long fingernails. It's nice that you can disable the Wireless with a switch (to conserve energy). However, the switch does not move all the way from one end of the case opening to the other, which I found slightly confusing when I tried to enable the WLAN for the first time. I also could not find an option to format an SD card (yet), while it's possible to select to format the internal flash memory.

I like the PDF formatting/reflowing capabilities and that the reader memorizes the zoom levels for each book separately. It also keeps these when flipping to the next page. Page refreshes happen very quickly. Reading ePub and PDF is very convenient. Next step is trying to install a dictionary...

Bye,
LenZ

As far as I know there are no differences between the firmware versions of rebranded models (except possibly the Bebook Neo) so you should be able to update to the latest version of the official firmware (external link to howto).

Actually, I know that the polish distributor releases firmware which is modified international firmware. It is destined specially for polish market. He said that it has a little bit different features and in the future the difference will grow.

Could I bother you to check what it'd cost to ship to Malaysia? I'm looking for something larger myself (though lighter than my DX!) but this looks like a good fit for what my wife is looking for.

Klein,
Any update on the English language website?
Will it have a different address or be a flag in the corner of the Dutch or German site?
Will you be offering the Boox 60s?
