Extract kobox.txz? That shouldn't be a problem... If it took that long, the file should be big... Do you have another zipping program? It could be a problem with 7Zip.

What OS and program are you using to extract the file. I download the .txz file from the link in the first message in this thread and generated a SHA-256 for it:

SHA256: 7D47BAF798A58CB7DED64C04BDB655BBA237F54E40DA6B782CE306A3A2EC1F04
7-Zip 19.00 on Windows 10 x64 was able to open the .txz file and let me dig into the .tar file which I extracted the contents from on my HD. The 7-Zip window is in the attached image.

You probably could. The project has been deprecated in favor of the KoBox subsystem that you'll find in InkBox OS and that roughly allows you to do the same thing.
