I have a laptop with that same issue (a shallow SD card slot) and I use a low-profile mini SD card adapter, which takes a mini-SD card and lets it fit into the regular SD card slot, but barely protrudes at all. It's actually a little bit hard to get it out of my laptop. I liked doing it this way, using the SD card slot, since it preserves the USB slots for other things. The one I bought from Amazon a couple of years ago iisn't available anymore, but if you search "low-profile mini SD adapter", or "shortening mini SD adapter" there are multiple choices.

I don't know if you've already bought your TV, but if not, I highly recommend an LG NanoCell TV that supports Dolby Vision.

It's been a while since I bought my Roku stick but I didn't have any problems with it so I've never had to contact their customer service.

Have you tried the "contact us" on their website?
https://support.roku.com/contactus

They also have a user discussion community. I am not a participant so I don't know if the people who post there are knowledgeable.

I've never had any problems with them, and I've set up eight or so Roku devices so far. The one thing I can think of is it having problems connecting to your Wifi? That might prevent it from getting to the code portion of setup, and could be something that would effect both the TV and the SE if you tried them in the same room. Even a weak signal that it can only connect to intermittently might be behind it.

I ran into that with my dad's Chromecast recently, it can't connect to Wifi because his new TV blocks the signal. It acted really strangely and took a bit to figure out what was wrong.

Thanks, but the only reason I was looking was the ridiculously low pre-Black Friday pricing. Otherwise, I'm content to wait until one of the existing TVs dies.

I am holding a BIG grudge against LG, because the one LG TV I owned died almost immediately after it was out of warranty--not just died, but died somewhat spectacularly, with smoke coming out it; turned out I was not alone in having a problem with that model. It soured me on LG for all time.

This phone, the Motorola Moto E6, is on sale again today from the same three vendors at $19.99 for Cyber Monday, as part of a sale of a lot of different phones: https://www.amazon.com/deal/8b059cdd...=ATVPDKIKX0DER

Note that these are locked to various cell phone providers, but if, like @tubemonkey (and me), you just want a smallish Android "tablet", they work great for that. (Although still bigger than I wanted...)

There is also an additional 20% Amazon Reward point bonus if you have and use an Amazon Prime Credit card. (Note this includes your normal 5%, so it's not 25% off...)

@tubemonkey's excellent OP on this really details the features, so if you're interested, click back to it...

Target has an across the board 10% off purchase offer via their membership club Circle, thru Dec 12. I can’t really find a good direct link that doesn’t cycle thru my sign up - it’s prominent on their website though. I believe it’s for multiple items in one order, which makes it attractive IMO.
[Restrictions: Offer excludes items sold & shipped by Target Plus™ Partners. *Excludes alcohol, Apple products, Baby Alive Grow Up Baby, Barbie Dreamhouse & Camper, Beats Powerbeats, Beats Powerbeats Pro, Beats Solo Pro, Bose, Cards Against Humanity, Casper, The Child action figure, clinic & pharmacy, Cricut, dairy milk, DockATot, Dockers, Disney Frozen Castle, DSLR cameras & lenses, Elf on the Shelf, Elvie, Facebook Oculus and Portal, facemasks, Fitbit, gift cards, Google, HALO Baby, Hasbro Games (Classic Monopoly, Connect Four, Jenga, Rubik’s Cube, Sorry, Trouble), Hot Wheels Ultimate Garage, HP, Imaginext Batcave, Infant Optics, Instant Pot, JBL, LEGO, Levi’s Red Label, LG OLED TV, limited-time designer partnerships, Little People Rampway, L.O.L. Is there a limit to the amount of memory of an SD card this phone can handle?

I have been using a cheapo 128GB card in mine for a couple years now. Works fine for images and audiobooks - I don't use the phone for video shooting, which is the real test of the card's recording speed.

From Motorola support pages for Moto E6:
Quote:
About SD card

Your phone supports a microSD card up to 256 GB.

If the card is for portable storage (different devices can use card), a Class 2, 4, or 6 card is sufficient.

If the card is for internal storage (used by phone only), use a high speed card such as UHS-1 type for best performance. Don’t use Class 2, 4, or 6 cards, which are much slower than your phone’s internal storage.

Just a note that while the Cyber Monday link is no longer valid, there are still $19.99 provider-locked E6's available under Holiday Deals. Just searching for that model brought up 4 options in the first page results.

You can probably ignore the 256GB limit. Usually, they just mention the max capacity available during development stage/release. Devices often support higher.

2TB is the max for the SDXC standard though so that one's probably a hard limit.
