You're right. I had it there because I had searched for it earlier.

I've fixed the screen updates in the settings menu. It'll definitely be in the next version.

Front light control by swipe is awesome, I almost missed it (was looking in menus first to activate it ).

I've now completely turned off page-by-tap flipping as the new swipe implementation doesn't result in unintentionally double commands.

Maybe it's possible to make an own sub menu in the Control settings regarding swipe gestures.

Furthermore, it would be very, very nice if you could realize some sort of user preset settings that can be changed on the fly as I have different settings (for instance Font embolding, Inverse display and Display update mode) during day and night reading.

BTW, it would be nice when the Display update mode is only coupled to the reading part as the Always use fast update option (which I always choose at night reading to make reading less inconvenience to my partner) make the menu's hard to read after a couple of entries.

Very nice version, great fixes! My only complaint is that in the new theme, at the bottom of the page, the page numbers are far too small.

I have just learnt, that the citation list is written into bookmark files in the c3-notes dictionary, and citation has a "- comment" section (after the percentage). I would like to ask if it is possible to make it work, like a long tap on the citation in the citation list, and an "Add comment" and a "Show comment" menu item could appear next to the Delete the citation and Go to the citation. Note taking could be solved by this.

I'd prefer rewriting this part. Unfortunately I don't know when will I get there.
It's a good note taking solution though.

I agree. It is very awkward. The current way is just a "better-than-nothing" solution.

Thanks for the picture, that was my guess too, but on my reader they were differently sized. I was about to create a screenshot, but it seems that the full restart of the reader healed the page numbers spontaneously.

not sure if this is supposed to work or not but i have the Touch lux 2 with latest fw 5.9 and latest coolreader and i dont get any footnotes at the bottom of the page. yes i have turned "footnotes at page bottom" on. If this is supposed to be working is there something else i need to turn on somewhere?

It should work, but only with .fb (fictionbook) files.

- Tap action: Delete bookmark (for current page)
- Long tapping the bookmark icon in the new menu toggles the current page bookmark (the icon changes if the current page is bookmarked)
