then, tried to log into sony today - broken pswd! Had to do a reset there, also, and save new pswd. Suspect they send old, saved pswd to Adobe when logging in, which caused the issue.

IIRC, back in the day, your Sony password had to match your ADE password. To the best of my knowledge, Kobo never required that.

That being said, it's probably a good idea to change your passwords periodically anyway.
