I don't *mind* spanking if it's in a book I am otherwise enjoying. If it's some hardcore BDSM stuff in a book I'm otherwise enjoying I tend to skim the sex scene because that stuff is about as sexy to me as reading the directions from the old _Joy of Cooking_ about how to clean a muskrat. Except for the pony tail butt plugs, which are (to me) inappropriately hilarious.

I love the book P&P, but I also love the mini-series with Colin Firth, Jennifer Ehle, etc. I enjoy watching most Austin adaptations moreso than rereading her other books. P&P and Northanger Abbey are the only two I've reread as an adult. And I never did read Emma or Mansfield Park all the way through. But I own multiple productions of all 6 of her novels as mini-series and/or movies. If it helps, all of her books have an HEA for the main protagonists. |

![]() I'm on the last part of Book two of the Psy-Changling series. I do believe I will get Book three with that credit I got for returning the first book of the Crossfire series. Those who belong to Audible it is soooo easy to return a book you don't like. I bought it last July and with a few clicks I had my credit back instantaneous. I love that they give us a year to return a Audible and it's all automated. Last edited by Blossom; 06-05-2013 at 11:45 PM. |

![]() ![]() ![]() Another good one would be Sing Me Home by Jerri Corgiat. I love the book so much I bought the series and read all but the last one. Sing Me Home was a freebie last year and I haven't loan my copy out if anyone is interested and missed it. Last edited by Blossom; 06-06-2013 at 12:08 AM. |

I've got a zillion books on my Sony and 30 or so in my print TBR pile and there is NOTHING I am in the mood to read at the moment.
I need a new Psy/Changeling book ![]() Think I need to either reread an old favorite or watch TV until I come down from my series glom. |

To me, those *are* minor points. I really think the tampon thing is minor...but I do also think that of listing the couple's names. I was careful not to mention the names of the couple in the Heart of Obsidian book since 1) it's still new and 2) it's not obvious from any of the blurbs. That's why I brought it up. I see no difference between what I did and what you did. And yet I'm told to use spoiler tags. |

![]() ![]() I supported your view on the matter. I think that may be a little extreme. I mean who doesn't read a blurb before they buy a book? ![]() I can understand why some people feel the way they do about it but they are not spoilers. Last edited by Blossom; 06-06-2013 at 01:03 AM. |
