Everytime I tap on the etc folder the device freezes. I have to try the restart option twice before it reboots. Is this a known bug?

I haven't been using Kindle explorer for ages.
KOReader file manager is much better.

Yes. I had no issue in accessing the etc folder in Koreader. But it seems hidden files can't be viewed? As in some folders it showed 18 files for ex. but upon opening the folder none were shown. In KFE the files were displayed however. I can't find any setting for hidden files in Koreader.

I check Show hidden files and Show unsupported files in settings.
Besides, I change exclude_dirs list in koreader/frontend/ui/widget/filechooser.lua to show sdr folders.
