Oh, man! I went to check on the new Fables graphic novel, Inherit the Wind, and Amazon says it is "under review." That seems very weird! It release date was last Tue. I wonder what is wrong with it.

When I upload new books to Kindle Direct Publishing the books are not available for sale immediately. Their status becomes "under review". Then, some time within a day or three they change to "on sale".

If this is the Fables produced by Veryigo, great comic by the way, then it should not be under review. Vertigo is a branch or DCcomics and I am sure that Amazon takes it on faith that their stuff is legit.

Harumph!!! I got a letter from the bank yesterday saying that the $200 credit to my account was TEMPORARY!!! pending investigation of the claim. What the #3!! good is that? That means I have to maintain at least a $200 balance at all times, lest they deduct the $200 causing an overdraft.

I always keep a balance well in excess of that, but it’s just the idea of the thing. It’s like they’re saying that I’m not smart enough to understand that it’s total BS!

Yeah and whatever the problem with it was, it is investigated/fixed now. It is just so weird that a big-release, popular graphic novel like that would have to be reviewed. If it was a self-published thing or even an eBook version, I'd understand. Anyway, it is available now.

Banks are evil that way. I'd be in trouble if I was missing $200.
