I brought plenty of tea with me for the trip, so there was no lack of that, but somehow it just tastes better in your own mug. Well Stichawl is back, so this will be my last subsitute song of the morning. Since its a Sunday, I figure we should go with a religious theme...

Good morning, everyone! Happy Monday! And it's the very last Monday of July too! It was a fantastic vacation, but I'm glad to be back home again, drinking East India Company's "Royal Breakfast" tea with my rice and soup. I hope your week was as comfortable as mine, able to do the things you needed to get done. No more procrastination... August will be here in just another few days and you KNOW what that means, right?

Welcome back, Stichawl. While I've very much appreciated VydorScope's substitute songs, they're just not quite the real thing.

(As for mugs, I couldn't agree more, and I've started packing my favourite mug with me when I travel. )

Good morning, everyone! It's 'Turning Day!' Tonight we turn the corner onto the new month, and hopefully just another few weeks of this super hot weather. Pray for Snow! I have a big mug (my own true mug) of Ahmad's "English Breakfast" tea to wash down some Cajun spiced chicken and rice to start the day off right. Then I'm going to begin searching for a bigger mug. Mine is one liter and I'd really prefer something just a bit bigger. And something I can get my hand inside of for washing. As it is, my wife has to wash my current mug and that's not fair to her. I don't have particularly large hands but I still can't get them inside my regular mug to really scrub out all the tannin left over from my tea. After a few days it really begins to build up and make the tea taste a bit bitter.

Oh!! Big news from this past vacation... I drank a cup of coffee! And I enjoyed it! The restaurant owners put a cup down in front of me while we were chatting one evening, already spiked with cream and sugar, and without thinking I picked it up and began drinking it. I was half way through before my wife noticed what I was doing and mentioned it. We were both pretty shocked. I'm thinking now that perhaps it's time for me to go to someplace like Starbucks and have a 'Coffee tasting' event to see if there are others that I can enjoy. The Starbucks that I frequent for my afternoon Ice Tea and hour's reading offers a 8-10 different coffee tasting party, so we're going to give that a shot. This could very well lead to a whole new lifestyle for me!

LOL. I love Thai iced coffee and enjoy the occasional cup of regular coffee. But tea is better.
