Nope. Cooper wakes upat 5:30 every morning and is banished back to his bed every 30 minutes. The good news is that he cannot jump on the bed easily and he is good about going back to bed. He just doesn't stay there.

haaa haaa @poohbear_nc
Maybe you can get darker curtains? Mr M always thinks it is later on a dark day (hence the dinner demands start earlier) Mr M only does that sort of stuff when he is desperate for a cuddle. He doesn' want to wake me up because his bed cuddle platform will leave. In the middle of the night he very carefully sneaks down beside me (away from the bloke side) goes under the covers, turns around and lies down beside me with head on pillow body under covers. He forgets that when he falls asleep his claws come out and tickle me. I have tried replacing him in one of his own beds, but as soon as he thinks I am asleep the sneaking starts. I now push a pillow between us so the claws don't get me. why do their wet beaks have to be so cold? |

Curtains don't matter ....
I've looked for her battery since day 1 - but concluded she operates on solar power, and possibly an internal composting cylinder - judging from the smells in the litter box! If I close the bedroom door she flings herself against it .... over & over & over & over ..... Sigh ..... Just call me "Sleepless with Stella" |

I remember reading a Garfield cartoon once where John asks Garfield why he spends so much time in the sunbeam. Garfield responds "Didn't you know John? Cats are solar powered."
Good luck Poohbear. Hopefully Stella will tire of this activity soon. |

It must be something in the air today.
Lexie, who never wakes me up, woke my up at 4am this morning, she had decided that she wanted to sleep next to me on my bed but I had hogged the blanket and she woke my up to make clear she wanted some blanket, too. An hour later she woke me up again when I had put one leg on top of the blanket and my foot right next to her. I don't know if she was just curious or didn't want a stinky human foot right next to her but she pressed her cold, wet nose against the bottom of my foot. That woke my up with a start! Didn't really sleep after that until my alarm went off. |

I don't know Mr. Jordan, based on your picture, I think you would make a pretty good Khan yourself. Try saying the line, "Ah Kirk, my old friend. Do you know the Klingon proverb that tells us revenge is a dish that is best served cold? It is very cold in space."

On a related note, I need to bring our dogs to work with me at night so they'll be as tired as I am and stop waking me every day between two and three PM. Last edited by WT Sharpe; 06-08-2012 at 05:47 PM. |

Oh, Jeeze. Crystal just ate my grandson's change purse. Now we're both in for it when he gets home.
![]() Meanwhile, my wife is going out to buy herself another hairbrush to make up for the one that dog ate. |
