Coke Zero #2 in my cup. Having fixed a table, cut the hedge, and worked out how to clean a carpet without a proper wet vacuum cleaner, I'm now off to sort through photos to find 25 suitable photos as my silver wedding anniversary party is in a fortnight. (& the actual anniversary is in the days!)

A busy day.

Thank god we are in the hospital. The area is without power after a huge storm but the generators at the hospital are keeping everything running. It sounds like I can stay until Monday which I will probably do. Another day of help is a good thing.

Now I am waiting for my parents to get here so they can avoid the heat. When the hubby wakes up, I'll send him home to get them and move the dogs to the basement where it is cool. And maybe have him bring me back a beer...

OJ, milk, bad tea, and water so far today.

No power by me... storms really did a number here... might be a week more. Slipped into my office at the university just to cool off, work on my lesson,l catch some quick news and then back to the oven of a house I now have!

No power at the house. My parents got a hotel room and my little family is staying at the hospital which never lost power. We will be here until Monday. Hubby is making hotel arrangement for Monday and Tuesday night.

Lucas had some breast milk. He has already lost a pound in weight. He had Abadan day on Friday (circumcision) and ate poorly. His appetite is building nicely now. I am not looking forward to the 4am feelings though.

Ah well. Finishing a banana and some crackers and water then back to bed.

LOL I'll have to remember to tell the nurses that. Today has been a day full of firsts. First spit up, first diaper explosion.... Dad was a bit surprised.

Side note - see that Germany has banned circumcision for any reason other than medical?
