I was insanely busy for awhile with work and the pressures of all the doctors and specialists visits. both have slowed down a bit *eep* for the work part at least. radiation starts wednesday and chemo will be via a pill

Vermont radio stations used to run contests for the cleverest ways to get rid of zucchini. "Put them in an old suitcase and leave unattended at the bus station" was one, as was " box them wrapped in gift wrap with a big bow, put on a park bench, and turn your back on it" was another. I guess the 'leave unattended at the bus station' might not go over so well these days...

What? They won't let you take your iPhone into the delivery room? Hey! You don't have to do anything but breath a little and push a little. Everyone else in the room will have the hectic part. We are expecting a centimeter by centimeter delivery report! Afterwards, you can rest, but keep in mind we are all out here pacing back and forth, waiting to hand out chocolate cigars!

I brought my laptop and cell in with me and kept my family updated via Facebook when our son was born. It was MUCH easier then fielding calls and etc. They got semi-regular updates and we were left alone. Reasonable trade off, IMO.
