Seriously, cats are generally a non-issue, and dogs are an issue only if they can actually get into your back yard. We have two dogs and a cat. Not any problem -- the cat ignores them, and the dogs try to sniff their butts. The issues are almost always wild animals -- racoons, cougars, bears, and eagles are all potential problems. Our yard has enough large firs and cedars in it to provide protection from eagles, the racoons and cougars can NOT get into the coop (we dug down 2 feet and buried the wire fabric), and bears? Well, if you've got them, and they've decided they're interested in chicken for dinner, there's not much you can do. Electric fencing can help, but so far the local bear hasn't taken an interest, thank goodness. Clipping their wings is a bad idea - it makes it very difficult for them to escape any predator that might show up. Peet's Darjeeling Fancy Organic and a couple of tea cookies. |

Hey where did we go,Days when the rains came Down in the hollow, Playin' a new game, Laughing and a running hey, hey Skipping and a jumping In the misty morning fog with Our hearts a thumpin' and you My brown eyed girl, You my brown eyed girl. ![]() ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TG8Ect3Xn7w ) Good morning, everyone! It's one of those delightful mornings! Not so nice outside, but lovely inside. Maybe it's the meditations doing their work? I don't know... I just feel good! Big mug of Ahmad's "English Breakfast" tea with a bowl of rice and some small German Bayern sausages. A bit greasy, but who cares! It's THURSDAY!!! Did you ever stop to think that maybe living IS the purpose? Stitchawl |

Some tonic water - minus the Bombay Sapphire because I have to drive to band practice, although I'm so tired that I probably should probably just go to bed. Of course when I get home I'll be wide awake and not able to sleep.

Watching the ruin facing our house being finally finished. On one side, it is nice that we won't have a ruin anymore in our view. On the other, it looks like the new architect has no clear line at all, and just listens to whatever new idea pops every day in its client's head, so it's a mix of maurish/tuscan/bauhaus villa. I am not kidding you. Yes, for the time being it is absolutely ugly, and tasteless.
A big glass of water in my hand, going any minute to put two steaks on the grill. We haven't had a good steak in ages ! |

Coffee.
We are 100's of miles from home my wife's G-Dad went home to be with the Lord at the young age of 93. The family was meeting to decide whether or not to continue life support kind of measures when he took the decision from them with a heart attack. Just a week before he was up and driving and everything. He went fast... admitted to the hospital on a Friday, and dead before Monday. Funeral is tomorrow. He was a Quaker so it will be short and have no ceremony about it. Wake, viewing, services, and burial will all take less then 2 hours combined. |

You say that you love me (say you love me)All of the time (all of the time) You say that you need me (say you need me) You'll always be mine (always be mine) I'm feelin' (glad all over) Yes, I'm-a (glad all over) Baby, I'm (glad all over) So glad you're mine ![]() ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D-hL7...eature=related ) Good morning, all! Another Friday that begins with Taylors of Harrogate's "Yorkshire" tea! Didja ever stop and wonder what ever happened to good music? As a musician, I can't even jam to most of the stuff that's on the radio today! It's like it's being beamed in from another dimension... Maybe I'm just getting old, but you'd think that at least the guitar chords would be the same... I'm not sure which is worse; Rap or Heavy Metal? Techno? Couldn't we try using melody again? Just for a change? Stitchawl |
