Do you happen to know if a person who has been a trial member before (let's say me, for instance) can sign up for a membership, get the two audiobooks for the 1 credit and then bail out after paying for just one month?

The three Mysteries & Thrillers I clicked on were listener rated 201 to 981 times with 4.4, 4.6 and 4.6 ratings, so it seems that hundreds have mystery recommendations in there.

There's often something somewhere in the offerings from my wish list. I picked up one from my wish list and another I hadn't seen before that looks interesting.

Sure you can. Monthly memberships let you bail at any time. But before signing up for a full price paid membership, check out the trial offers to see if you qualify for any of them. Start with the free ones first then move up in price.

I've listened to:

• In a Dark, Dark Wood by Ruth Ware
• Where They Found Her by Kimberly McCreight
• Pretty Girls by Karin Slaughter

I can recommend the first two; however, they're psychological suspense rather than straight mystery. But I hated Pretty Girls for its excessive and gratuitous violence against women--it's so disgusting that I don't plan to ever go near another Karin Slaughter book.

Authors Michael Connelly and David Baldacci are very well known. I've read the former and liked his work. I've got one of each in my audible basket right now, due to this sale .... but the website mentions some problems they are working on. I'm hoping when that sign goes away, that my credit will show up. Cuz I got an email saying it was there, but it isn't showing up, and it isn't going toward this sale! I'm not buying them for money, even though it's still a great buy.

edit: my credit shows up now. But my shopping cart got emptied! I'll go find those two books again.

edit: Oh, not the normal cart. Went to the above sale page, and the books were still selected THERE. Got 'em.

I've noticed over the last few days when I've checked Audible that my membership and my 2 credits keep disappearing and then reappearing.
