@ ProfCrash - It sounds like you had a really great time at the shower and got to meet new people in a fun situation. Do any of them have children? - Great for support, play dates, and trading babysitting.

All of their children are grown but we live 1/2 a mile from the local elementary school. There are plenty of kids around ranging from infants to high school. It is a good neighborhood for that type of thing. I'll be meeting plenty of parents when out walking the baby.

How nice to be so close to a school and strolling with the baby is always a great way to meet other parents. Did you get one of those jogging strollers? or a bike trailer? I see parents using the bike trailer with their kids in our neighborhood and the kids have a great time. It's perfect for making trips to the local market.

Still trying to decide what to put in my cup next.

We might get a bike trailer but that is not something really needed right now. We have a pretty heavy duty stroller not a jogging stroller. I don't jog. (winks)

Good morning, everyone! Todays a day for weeding the garden. It's amazing that a veranda garden six stories above ground should get weeds, but it does! Lots of them! But first, a big mug of Ceylon Dimbula tea and a bowl of muesli to start the day!

I already told my husband that potty training is not the same as training a puppy. He seemed confused....

Rooibos Ginger in the pot and cup today.

Got a bit of a nap yesterday and woke up feeling much better. We put the glider together, tonight the ottaman. Then all the hubby needs to do is hang a few pictures and the curtains and the room is ready.

I am going to be using the glider for reading and the like to help Cooper adjust to the new room and unusual stuff in the room. The poor dog is just so nuerotic. He will be fine with the changes in the house in about a week but right now there is a fair amount of belly crawling and slinking around the new stuff and boxes.

i know this sounds stupid...but can someone explain to me what kindle editions mean? i mean, i seem to have $1 in promotional credit under kindle editions. does that simply mean towards any kindle ebook purchase?

Gloomy and foggy day. Not much going right. Hardware and software both are being obstreperous. All in all, a day I wish I could just go back to bed and pull the covers over my head.
