Good morning, everyone! Rainy day Monday! I've a big mug of Taylors of Harrogate's "Assam" tea beside a plate of hummus, Kalamata olives, and pita bread, Gordon Lightfoot on the stereo, and with a good book, plan to stay inside at least until the storm passes!

Peet's Scottish Breakfast tea this morning, but I fell back to Diet Coke this afternoon. Just wasn't getting enough liquid into me to make up for last night, when we had a celebratory dinner for my DW's birthday. Champagne (two kinds) and then a lovely Viognier from La Frenz with the wild mushroom risotto I made.

Out of town for 3 days, presenting in Regina. I'll be very light on the boards, but see you all back here on Thursday, for sure.

Pike Place Roast courtesy of my daughter who's a part-time barista at Starbucks. Perks include free bag of coffee (or tea or whatever) to take home each week.
