Just finished 'The Great Book of Amber' and 'Roger Zelazny's Alien Speedway Book 1 Clypsis' by Jeffery A. Carver.

Any suggestions for the next one?

If you are laughing out loud at the book, be sure to watch the movie version (out on DVD) - it stays true to the book - and is funny!

I guess just looking at the names and authors of who they have read would be a start. After that? who knows?

I'm finishing up with Vision In White by Nora Roberts. For those who like contemporary romance, I highly reccomend this book. Not sure what it will be next. But it will definitely be an ebook. Definitely another romance.

Forgot to mention, I finished the Pliocene Exiles series (by Julian May) last week, and moved on to the next one: Intervention.

Unfortunately, both these books available only in paper format. While not my first choice in reading formats, some books are worth the inconvenience.
I tried reading that while in the UK (where everyone seemed to LOOOOOOVE Pratchett, but I just couldn't get into it...if you highly recommend I may make another attempt.

Finished Clapton and was a wee bit disappointed in the ending...maybe he became too normal in his life and I felt I had lost the mystique of the bad-boy musician?

Getting into Lisa See's newest one, Shanghai Girls and I am loving it. It takes place in a different setting with a bit different character group than her past (and most others') Asian culture books. I'm looking forward to her 'speak & sign' at The Poisoned Pen in Scottsdale on the 28th!

In general, you either love Pratchett - or you just don't get why people who do love him do love him - I think it's because what people think is funny varies so much between individuals.

I will say that I am finding this book an interesting read.
I've not read any of his books before. His style is different.

It was hard getting my mind around the story........but am glad I kept reading. There is so much happening, on so many levels, you really have to pay attention.

I"m not sorry so far.....

I'm reading "Once Bitten Twice Shy" by Jennifer Rardin, last month's $1 Orbit promo book. Just started, so no comments on it yet.

I agree, plus it's British humor and it takes me a bit to gt my head wrapped around it. Took me a few episodes to "get" Red Dwarf although it only took a second to "get" Billy Connolly!
