PRS+ doesn't need any folders in IM after installation.
Some PRS+ config files could be put into /database/system/PRSPlus and that's it.

There might be something wrong with the sites you are trying to download from. Could you share the link?

It's a website (but I also tried to download files from my dropbox account too) from which I download my newspaper.

Try to download from Guttenberg Project

Thank you,
Download newspaper and books from website with login, was one of the reasons, I replaced the 650 with the 950.
I hope the very good prs+ enhancement will also add this feature in the next few months.

hello guys, me again ;-)

after 2 months of using normally my PRS-600 with the previous version of PRS+ CFW, I've encountered a strange behavior. By strange I mean that 2 days ago, after the battery was exhausted, the PRS+ disappeared and the original Sony FW was installed. Someone can give me a hint why this happened? :-)

I'll try tonight, hopefully, the new kartu's CFW, but if I did something wrong until today, please let me know ;-)

It's "safe mode" I guess. If reader is connected to USB during boot, PRS+ doesn't start.

Well, if that happened first time after battery was empty, it still happens right now when starting/restarting not connected to USB.

Are you sure you mean full shutdown / startup and not simply on/off switch?

so, just to sum up:

- first I've noticed that no power on on/off switch;
- I've connected the PRS to USB for loading, it was charging and it started in default Sony FW (at that time I even didn't noticed that it was the default FW :-))) )
- after a while, I've noticed that :-), and I did a full shutdown/restart without connecting it to USB, but the default FW was still there..

So... Do you need extra info or smthg else?

no way, it worked!!! but why?? because I've restart it yesterday without being connected to a PC (did I ? or I just have to take some medicine for my memory??) :-)))

Anyway, jeez, wrong moments for me to panic ;-)) problem solved, my PRS+ 2.0.5alpha back in business ;-)

kartu, do you recommend me to upgrate to latest PRS+ alpha?

Well, check changelog wiki page on the project site, if anything new appeals to you, update.

Just a quick query... will the enhanced mount return in the final version of PRS+2.0.10... I just installed the alpha on my 505 and lost access to about half of the 7-8GB on the card, just like original problem with large card/data usage so have had to revert to 1.1.3 to restore this. Given a choice of reading direct from card or accessing whole contents but reading from IM then the latter wins at the moment...

Yes, it will return. Both "hard" disabling of scan and "via mount".
