Bloody Apple, just upgraded the ipod system, and now I can't get it to play the audio books from the library. Seeing that's why I got I'm not happy. As far as I can work out I've got all the right options ticked, guy at the library can't work it out either. Will have to get in touch with EBSCO ( company which does the books) and see if they can put me on the right track. I was happy as it was, only upgraded because I was drugged up after hospital and not thinking straight. Waahhhh! I just want to listen to a book.

I tend to upagrade to the lastest version of everything I use, but I've known people who can only be dragged kicking and screaming to upgrade, because they don't want new problems to crop up. "Don't touch it! It works the way I want it to!"

Yeah but iTunes and Adobe update way more than necessary, IMHO. It seems like every time I boot up the computer I need to update them.

Yep, EBSCO is a bit database that provides academic journal articles and popular magazine articles as well. They also do library eBooks now.

I just discovered two hairline cracks on the bezel of my Kindle, running diagonally downwards from each bottom corner of the sceen. I just got of the phone with Amazon and they'll send a new one and I have to send the old one back. I'm now looking which international courier has a service/drop-off point nearby my house. Luckily I won't have to send the old one back until I get the new one. Still bummed it has happened though.

ugh! I was attacked by a dog tonight! I was picking my puppy up from the groomer as we have an event tomorrow. she also does doggy day care a.d boarding. o.e of them lunged at me. I have a gash on my wrist and the fangs as well as all the teeth between on my upper thigh. took about an hour to clean out. maybe I'll take a pic tomorrow when I replace the bandage. quite sore;o(

Good luck with that, kindlekitten. I expect you are bruised as well as having puncture wounds - nasty.

My husband got bitten a while back when another dog had a go at ours. He went to the doctor and was given antibiotics which made him quite ill, so I hope you don't have that complication.

thanks for the good wishes all ;o) yes I have had a tetanus about 2 years ago. this was a clean healthy dog and up to date on his shots. the muscle itself is quite sore as well as the bite mark. I wish I'd quit dinging myself.... *sigh*
