Peet's Darjeeling Fancy Organic. A nice, whole leaf, second flush Darjeeling, with the strong floral bouquet of a good Darjeeling, and a rather puckery mouth feel. All in all, a good mid-day or evening tea, though nothing particularly special.

Good morning, all. Happy Sunday! For those of you attending or planning to attend religious service, give God a High Five for me... Seals and Crofts followed the Baha'i faith, and a more mellow religion you will never see! I guess most folks don't know much about the Baha'i as they don't usually proselytize or publicize, but they are one of the major religions in the world today. Very mellow, very gentle, and very positive ideas; equality between men and women, no science without religion and no religion without science, universal education, and no 'high muckity mucks' telling common folk what they should be thinking or doing. It's one of the very few organized religions I can appreciate.

A big cup of Ceylon Uva tea this morning, and a plate of fresh croissants make our breakfast, and then it's off to try to complete yesterday's aborted ride. The winds have died down so it should be a good day!

Coffee, Black and hot as I finish my lesson for my class this morning on Romans 12:9-10. Thinking about starting a second class... maybe Thursday nights instead to pull a different pool of students.

OJwith my oatmeal. It is a gorgeous Sunday. The sun is shing, birds are chirping, it is probably in the 70s with little humidity. The dogs are sunning, eating grass, or wrestling in the yard. I am chilling on the deck having a late breakfast. The hubby is off playing tennis. Not a bad morning. Enjoying the quiet and relaxing atmosphere because I know that any day, but hopefully 6 weeks or so, the quiet and relaxing is going to be replaced with a totally different reality. Which is a good thing but I think I'll take a moment or two to enjoy peace and quiet.

A gorgeous day here on the West Coast, with sun and no clouds anywhere. This has been the first really good weekend since last October, and the tourists are here en masse. That's OK, they're tolerable at this time of the year, they bring a much needed infusion of money to the locals. The key is for them to understand their place and leave come September. That way we can enjoy a couple of weeks of peacefulness before the rains start, if we're lucky.

Unfortunately, it's a work day, but that's OK, I'm making progress. And this push only goes through the end of the month, so I can stand that.

Lion Mountain Keemun in my cup. This has become my default afternoon tea.

Last paper submitted! Spring 2012 Semester is COMPLETE! Some day Grad school will be complete too.. but until then, celebrate summer break!

Time to go get something special to put in my cup.

I have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA why this was on my mind when I woke up!!!

Good morning, everyone! Happy Monday! It's good morning for drinking strong tea... so I've a double-shot of Taylors of Harrogate's "Yorkshire" tea in my mug. That enough to grow hair on my teeth! A bowl of rice and Kalamata olives and some pita bread to try to comb it...

A few chores to get done today, but nothing major. But it's supposed to rain tomorrow so I'd better get them done today just to stay a bit drier. I think this afternoon and tomorrow will be very good reading days!
