For you bikers, the place to shop is Revzilla! The service rep went into the stockroom while talking with me on the phone, hand picked the jacket I wanted, (I was able to ask him very specific questions that weren't covered in the advert copy,) carried it into the shipping room himself and handed it to the shipping clerk WHILE TALKING TO ME ON THE PHONE, and watched as the clerk boxed up my jacket and addressed it. Now THAT is what I call really good customer service! (By the way, this jacket kept me warm as toast on a 150k ride Saturday in temps just a few degrees above freezing!) Stitchawl |

I just found out that sneezing fits and having stitches in ones mouth don't go together very well.
Earlier today I have a sneezing fit and afterwards I noticed that the stitches had partially come undone. I thought that after 2 weeks it had probably broken partially due to the natural decay of the string combined with the sneezing. I just rinsed my mouth with the prescribed mouth water and found out that it must have ripped loose. Ouch! On the bright side: I did discover that I have a talent for yodelling (although I'm not as good as my sister who found her talent when she tried to use wax strips to remove armpit hair) |

Depending on how I feel tomorrow I might ask the dentist not to stitch the wound of the extraction he's going to do tomorrow.
This morning rinsing went fine, the thing that annoys me at the moment is the long piece of string in my mouth. I hope it degrades quickly. |

I am a moron and don't know when to keep my mouth shut. I also tend to anxiety/panic and have a good memory. So, I am now obsessing over something stupid and personal I said to a co-worker that I shouldn't have. THREE. YEARS. AGO.

Helping the husband rewrite a rant letter to a computer company tonight. Seems they didn't send the screen he actually ordered AFTER he left explicit instructions for them not to send anything if they didn't have the exact one he needed.
*sigh* Would be so much easier if we could just replace the entire laptop, but... |

I'm not one of those chronic complainers, but the other day I had an unpleasant experience with the checkout person in the Ikea restaurant here. That night I sat down and wrote an email to the customer service department, and boy, I was on a roll.

Delivering Meals on Wheels yesterday, entered an apartment building carrying two meals (soup in plastic bowl with lid, entree in foil tray with lid, and dessert in polystyrene bowl with lid) in a bag that i had at chest level in both hands.
Headed for the elevator, and saw that a mother with two children had just entered. Started to walk into elevator only to have the bag (that was in front of me) make contact with the quickly closing door. Yes... that charming woman did not have the courtesy to hit the open door button, or make any motion to stop the doors. Result: Cracked dessert bowl with resulting syrup covering my bag, along with dented and slight leak in one entree. |

I regularly use Tesco's to deliver my groceries. Normally I would have everything delivered on a Monday, but for some reason I had decided on Thursdayfor this particular shop (probably out of food!). As it was cheaper, I opted for the 20:00-22:00 slot. at 21:50 there was still nothing so I called up customer services as I hadn't received a call to say the driver would be late. I was told that there had been a problem with the van that my delivery was on and as such it was on a different one so they couldn't tell me when it was expected to arrive.
22:30, still no food - so another call. Told it should be with me within half an hour. 23:00, still waiting - yet another call. Told that as it was gone 11, the driver would have gone home. Friday morning I call up again. After apologies, I was told that my delivery would be with me around 18:30 that evening. At around 17:00 I call up to confirm and am assured that my food was on the van and due to be with me at the allotted time. 18:30 - nothing. More calls to be told that the Store Manager didn't know which van everything had gone out with but it should be with me. Various phone calls later and I am still waiting. Naturally, nothing arrived Saturday morning I was told that the Store manager would call me up. He didn't. After chasing, I eventually got a phone call. All the manager could do was apologise to me - naturally I had really issue with him as he wasn't on duty the previous night. Eventually he told me that the van driver had refused to take my delivery because it would make him late - and they stop delivering at 23:00. I was so angry - why had I constantly been told the previous day that my delivery was on a van when this was a blatant lie? During all of the phone calls, I was offered vouchers so I managed to collect £40 worth which I happily spent on my next shop with them - I have since not ordered food from them (but not because of this incident - just have been going to the local supermarket instead). The main reason I shop online is it saves me money - I don't pick up things on impulse. After all the hassle I had with that shop, I think the thing that annoyed me more than anything else is that I ended up spending double the amount because of those impulse buys.... |

Bummer. Ordered a net book on line for DH for Christmas (so he can take it on holidays next year), it arrived today, great. Tried to insert the charger..won't go in! Now I am a woman of a certain age but I can charge all my other electronic devices with no trouble. Ring knowledgable friend who recommended the net book and it looks like they've sent the wrong charger. And it's Friday afternoon, too late to ring them because of time differences. AAARRRGGGGHHHH!!!
