You really are being strict on yourself, I must say. Most impressive.

Must take care of baby. He is already at high risk for learning disabilities and ADHD, both run strongly in my family. Why take risks and do things that increase the odds that he has those type of problems by screwing with his development. I know it is probably not a big deal and that moderation is key. As much as I am starting to drool when I see a Coke, I still prefer my tea and would rather have a nice cup or two of good tea then a Coke.

But I am looking forward to a Coke.

Peet's Russian Caravan tea. Good choice for a foggy, grey day.

Order them online. That's what many of us have to do... and it's worth it to be able to drink good tea!

Do a quick search online for tea and see what you find. I order from Tea Gschwendner and Gong Fu. Tea Gschwendner is an international company that might sell to Australia, I have never looked. Gong Fu is based in Iowa and I have a feeling that they would ship to you but you might need to email with them a few times to get the shipping worked out. Both have excellent teas.

Everyone, maybe we could list our favorite online tea shops, their URL's, and the country we live in to help people who are looking for good loose leaf tea. That way we have one post we can cut and paste from when folks ask.

TenaciousBadger: Why are you giving up coffee? Hopefully it is a voluntary thing and not something health related.

Those exotic teas were all ordered online. And yes, I`m sure that at least some of them ship to Australia!

Teaspring is where the Keemun Xian Zhen comes from. And they certainly ship to Australia. They're a good source of all levels of Chinese teas. Prices appear about what I'd expect. The very best stuff is expensive, but they have lower grades that are quite reasonable.

Peets is my source for everyday tea. They have a reliable quality, reasonable prices, and are my preferred coffee vendor so I can combine the two orders. A couple of their blends of tea are quite good, IMO, and they have good mid-to-upper range teas as well.

Good idea. Along with reviews and specific recommendations perhaps? Or, maybe we even start a Group for it, and have a discussion there, strictly focused on specific teas?
