Well there might be some truth in that coz I was told that it had been dispatched and was on a van yesterday even though it was still saying dispatching soon and this morning my order status changed to dispatched. So hopefully yours will change soon as well.

I ordered on 3rd August and have received an email saying it is dispatched, but estimated delivery date is 6th September. That seems a long delay.

NB it is being sent to a UK address.

It's always the next reader that's the best one . After having had my K3 for 3 days, though, I am delighted with it. It only has one significant flaw, in my mind, which is that the 5-way navigation control is too small (or perhaps my fingers are too large), but I can live with that.

should be getting my 3G one tomorrow.......fingers crossed I know I will love it, its killing me reading all your thoughts on it and I can't see mine yet.

I know what you mean.......is it bad that Im still waiting to see the new Sony readers? I just am addicted to gadgets and especially ereaders!

I noticed that you said that, but I've not had any problems - even with my fat fingers. What I find myself doing, in case it helps, is pressing the ridge to go up/down/left/right with my thumbnail held at an angle, and only pressing it as a button with a finger/thumb if I want the middle bit.

I would have thought as a Psion afficionado you would be a master at manipulating tiny keyboards with your thumbs while holding a device

I have been out tonight but i had a play before I went out and I love it, its so fast and responsive, the screen compared to my Sony Touch is amazing, I have started to load my books via Amazon and Calibre, and put them into Collections, and its so easy.

I am also pleased and surprised how discrete the keyboard is, I thought it would look ugly, in comparison to my Touch, but its quite sweet, I'm not having any problems with it at all.

sounds great, Im coming from a Sony Touch too
I am sat here now eagerly waiting for my postie to deliver both my wifi and 3G models. I am praying they come in the van as I have 2, otherwise we have a stand-in foot postie as my regular guy is on holiday, as he didn't arrive till 2.45pm yesterday!!

I'm waiting on mine today too. Just got excited when a Royal Mail van pulled up and gleefully took the box from the postman only to find it addressed to hubby - his book purchases grrrr.
