It's always nice to know that I'm not the only one who does this.

Some of mine are:

The Far Arena by Richard Ben-Sapir (sp?)
Kane and Abel by Jeffrey Archer
The Partner by John Grisham
Summer of '49 by David Halberstam
Truman by McCullough

There's actually very few books that I have re-read:
The Boy in Striped Pyjamas by John Boyne
Eragon by Christopher Paolini
The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien
The Hound of the Baskervilles by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle

Jane Austen, especially "Persuasion" and "Pride and Prejudice"
C.S. Lewis, "Till We Have Faces"
"The Hobbit" and "The Lord of the Rings"
And some childhood favourites, like the chronicles of Narnia and (when I really feel like some comfort reading) Milly-Molly-Mandy

It's authors I re-read more than books. Evelyn Waugh, PG Wodehouse, Robertson Davies. The books I tend to keep and return to are mostly ones that I read as a teenager. Monica Dickens' "Kate and Emma", a horrifying yet blackly funny dip into a world of poverty and deprivation, is one I've read many times. Oh and "Hamlet".

The only books I've ever reread are Hobbit and LOTR and also War and Peace (Twice). I'll read both of those again.

I had thought at some point I'd reread George RR Martin's A song of fire and ice until I read book 4 A Feast for Crows. I loved the first three, I won't even buy book 5.

Another I keep going back to is Salinger's "Franny and Zooey". Also I reread all the Flashman books -- sad to think that Fraser died recently, so no more Flashy.

I can always dip into Father Brown or O Henry. I also regularly read Lois McMaster Bujold's Curse of Challion Paladin of Souls and The Hallowed Hunt

The Martian Chronicles by Ray Bradbury. I've read it every year since I was in the 7th grade.

I still read Roald Dahl.. I've got The best of Roald Dahl, and I especially love Lamb to the Slaughter

I've probably already stated this...

I haven't read these books in quite awhile, but used to read them again once a year:
"A Walk Across America" and
"The Walk West II"
By Peter Jenkins.

The Giver by Lois Lowry. It's a good book for me even though it's a short one.
