I have the Libra Colour and none isn't an option. It only has 1-10 pages and Chapter. You have to select one of those it won't let you do anything else.

That said, I've done a manual port and upgrade from .39.22801 to .39.22861 and in the new firmware I'm not getting any flashing at all in the header, including in scenarios where previously I could reliably trigger it. I think Sherman was right in that it had nothing to do with his code, and was merely a more obvious side effect of a different bug in the firmware as a whole that seems to be patched out now. | |

How long you've been running the clock with the ...861 firmware update? I'm just trying to see if I should wait or try it out now.

Interesting. I'm beginning to wonder if the flashes I was seeing are in any way related to NickelMenu. I was seeing some strange screen fights while reading, along with the occasional black box around the time and battery values. Have just disabled NickelMenu and so far, so good. All is well on Clara BW

So the flashing problem is only on color readers? NickelMenu and NickelClock installed properly on my Clara BW. No flashing under any circumstances. All appears to be normal. |

Is your BW running firmware 4.39.22801 or .22861, do you know? Anecdotally, I only had flashing issues on .22801 but on .22861 it's been flash free.

I can confirm that I am running a Libra Colour on ...861 firmware and have the clock, battery and Nicklemenu running with no issues and no flashing of the battery or clock.

This seems to be my experience as well. If I read without going to the menu, everything works correctly. If I tap to bring up the menu (ie to highlight something), the clock starts to flash. If I go back to the home page and then I go inside a book again, the clock doesn't flash anymore.

After installing the last FW, I can confirm that the flashing in the clock has disappeared.
