Thank you! After fiddling around a bit I found out that this only happens if I have wifi turned on in Nickel before launching UMR with NickelMenu, if wifi is turned off everything works great (even if the "connecting to wifi..." tab pops up every time I unlock the device, but that is a very minor if not insignificant inconvenience).

I'm using a Kobo libra h2o and the brightness control doesn't work at all. Also the jpgs show up in my regular library. Anyone know how i can fix the brightness problem? its the only thing putting me off rn.

Something seems to have changed with the Mangadex API again. Whenever I try to add a new manga, I get the an error message (unable to parse metadata). Mangas, that are already in my favorite list are fine, I can just read on, just not add new mangas.

I can also add mangas from other sources, the problem only seems to exist with Mangadex which makes sense as they're still rebuilding.

Does this work with a Kobo Touch 2.0? I've tried installing it, but so far, the only thing that changes is that the icons and image files appear on my books.

Hello

I am trying to test the v2.12.0 with my KOBO Clara HD.
I have to activate the WIFI before launching UMR. I can browse a manga for a short time and then the display freezes.

I think UMR is not made for the Kobo Clara HD

P.S. : I use this config :
touchscreen_rotate=180
touchscreen_invert_x=0
touchscreen_invert_y=0

Hi OP - really great app, makes my day! However, I seem to have 125 images from the app synced as "my books". Is there any way to fix this? I use a Kobo Libra H2O

Hi, im currently using kobo libra 2nd generation. And apparently when im using UMR i cannot get my touch input registered, i already playing around changing umr.sh but no luck. Any plan to support newer models? Having this on my linra 2 would be awesome, thanks!

Also having problems with a Libra 2. I'm not experienced with kobo hacking, but i managed to get it installed with nickelmenu. It would open but crash back to the home screen after any touch. Happy to help test if you need any info! Thanks!

Last I checked, the touch issues on devices with an Elan touch panel are known, but will require someone with an affected device (Elipsa, Sage, Libra 2) to dig into the QPA and figure out why Qt is upset about the duplicate ABS_MT_TRACKING_IDs (that's my own guess as to what's bothering Qt, based on my experience with said devices elsewhere).

I'm unfortunately way too swamped to do anything besides cheering people on from the side

Thanks for making this app for the Kobo platform! This is seriously what finally convinced me to go for a Kobo!

I am having one major issue though, and it's the same one that rantanplan was having, it seems like Mangadex changed their api again, and that UMR can't pull manga from them anymore (Which is a shame, since half the manga I read is only on mangadex...)

I hope somebody can help me with two issues i have. The app starts but my touch buttons are rotated i tried the 180 degrees rotate in the file but this does sadly not do anything for me. I use a kobo forma anybody have the right settings for that. Second problem is that when i close the app my kobo wil shutdown and i can not turn it on for a solid couple of minutes. Please help thanks in advance.

Hi! I also use a kobo forma and, weirdly enough, 90 degrees worked for me! Just remember to replace the "auto" with 90 degrees and that should fix the problem!

I'm not sure what's causing the shutdown, though. Sorry I can't help with that!

Thanks this worked i tried everything but 90 haha. Still app crashes my kobo really werid. Also kobo freezes when i go in sleep mode when app is running. Maybe i could try and start from the beginning.
