And everything is on the card. If you reformatted it for use elsewhere, then it wiped the Kobo software. The only solution will be the image.

HI, i need sd card image.. my kobo been unresponsive for 2 weeks, and as a last resources i gonna trying to change the SD Card.

@mangkupret: You need to enable Private Messaging. This is in the "Edit Options" of the control panel. If this isn't there, it has to be added somehow. You can try posting in https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=319819 to ask it to be enabled, or contact a moderator.

Hi, i tried the image file davidfor send for me, and it works wonderfully. OMG, you must know how happy i am, since rakuten kobo did not shipping the product to my country and it hard to get the replacement. i thought my kobo aura gone for good. Yet it's back.. Thank you so much.

Could I still hop on the image train? I have an Aura 2 "Walmart edition" with an N236 serial number. Or im happy to create an image myself, just not sure how to from Windows.

Memory Upgrade Mod Guide has steps for creating the image and replacing the SD card. They are for the Glo, but the basic steps and tools are the same.

Hello Mangkupret. Prior to get the image back, what were the symptoms when turn it on? Did the LED turn ON?
Mine is not even lighting... Hope this is a firmware issue only...

Which image are you after? You list your device as an Aura H2O, but, the request is in the Aura Edition 2 thread. You need the right image for this to work, so I am checking.
