Take a survey and get the book Heaven and Hell: Are They Real, by Christopher Hudson, free.

The survey is at https://harpercollins.co1.qualtrics....?Source=Bibles. After you complete the survey, you will click on a link which will take you to a webpage where you give your email address. You will receive a link at that email address, to the free ebook.

The survey states that it will take 10-12 minutes to complete it. In previous surveys from the same source, Thomas Nelson/HarperCollins, I think that they understated it; for this survey, it seems that they have overstated it somewhat--I estimate that I spent only 5-10 minutes on it.

You beat me to it!

I get to add, though, that the book's a PDF, if that matters to anyone. It's a really nice PDF, though.

I'll relish it--it doesn't happen very often.

Yep. I did forget. However, I have come to expect PDF from giveaways like this, maybe most everyone else has, too. Sometimes there will be ePub or mobi or maybe others, but almost always PDF.

If you took the survey, did it take about as long as I estimated that it would? I think that the survey was intended mainly for Pentecostal/charismatic folks, but it seems like Thomas Nelson/HarperCollins may have had it sent to everyone on their mailing list(s).

I did. I think it took me a little longer than it did you, but not much. There were fewer questions than usual, but I had to think longer about some of the questions ("What are the last three books about Christian life that you read?", "What five leaders would you like to contribute to a study Bible?").

I couldn't think of any, so I just put "None," and I was able to navigate to the next page each time.

Some new Bibles that I haven't seen before are on sale.

The $2.99 Faith Builders Bible is the NIrV translation and is geared toward kids. The novelty is that it contains pictures of scenes rendered with LEGO-style blocks à la The Brick Testament (which is decidedly not for kids).

I downloaded the sample and the ebook falls a little flat with relatively few, low-res images. The pictures themselves are cute, though, so I may order a paper copy for my daughter.

The NKJV Teen Study Bible is $3.99.

Another Take-a-Survey-Get-a-FREE-Book Deal. This One is from Rose Publishing.

I got this message from Rose Publishing in my email today:
We Need Your Help:
Free Book Download Just For Sharing Your Opinion!

We need your help! We're developing NEW small group Bible studies for churches and would greatly appreciate your input on what topics matter most to you. This quick survey will take about 3-5 minutes of your time and at the end you get a free gift!
. . . .
Free Book Download! We know your time is valuable, so we will give you a choice between two thank you gifts—valued from $10–$25—after you complete the survey.
. . . .
We know our customers have valuable insight, so let us know what topics you think we should cover. Thank you for your help!

The free book choices are these:
100 Name of Jesus (Regular price $9.99).
Jesus' Family Tree (Regular price $26.99).

The message sounds like they were looking for input from their current customers. However, I'm not going to feel too bad about giving you the link to the survey, since they could have given a unique link for each person and they didn't do that. Here's the link.

ADDENDUM: I just finished the survey.

It took me about 3-5 minutes to complete, just as Rose Publishing thought that it would.

Only PDF is available for each book. I downloaded Jesus' Family Tree. It looks like a really good one! It has less graphics than most Rose Publishing items that I've seen, I think, but it is chock-full of great information,

How guilty should I feel that the book selection screen lets you download both if you just hit 'back'?

You shouldn't feel guilty at all--unless you do it. ha

There was a choice at the end that said something like, "none of the above." I was wondering what would happen if you ticked that box. Would you get a third choice? Just be outta luck?

Not to steal any of your thunder, but . . . .

For anyone who, for one reason or another, has decided not to bother checking out the selection at the webpage that Diffulgia has given the link to, there are three books in the selection that are not study Bibles--or any kind of Bible, for that matter:
Leadership Lessons. $2.99.
The MacArthur Bible Handbook. $5.99.
Church History in Plain Language. $5.99.

FREE Very Highly Rated Book on How to Be the Kind of Man that God Wants You to Be.

This ebook is currently the #1 seller in the Kindle store in the "Christian Living > Spiritual Growth" category.

What it Means to be a Man: God's Design for Us in a World Full of Extremes. By Rhett Smith. Rated 4.7 stars, from 42 reviews at the present moment, at Amazon. Print list price $12.99; digital list price $9.99; Kindle price now $0.00. Moody Publishers, publisher. 120 pages. https://www.amazon.com/What-Means-Ma.../dp/B00B7TGZCA.

Book Description
We hear the story of David and Goliath and wonder, “Do we have what it takes to slay the giant?”

Men today are confronted with many different expectations of who they’re supposed to be and what role they should be filling. By looking at history, the clichés of manhood, and what intimacy with God looks like, this short book will help men (and women) rethink what it means to be a man in today’s culture.

Counselor and pastor Rhett Smith works through tough questions like:

How can men look up to role models without following their flaws?
Is it possible to strike a balance between passivity and aggression?
How can men speak up, find intimacy, and take care of others without neglecting themselves?
When Christ calls us to follow Him, He paves a path that is different than our cultural expectations, a path that leads us to a relationship with Him and to true knowledge of what it means to be a man.

If you're like me, you've gotten spoiled by free copies of Warren Wiersbe "Be" series commentary ebooks.

However, $1.99 and $1.59 are excellent prices for these, too. And that's exactly what you can get Be Decisive (Jeremiah): Taking a Stand for the Truth for now.

I think that this is the first time that this particular volume in the series has been on sale for this low of a price. I was able to check back as far as January 2013 and it has not been these prices since then, at least.

The price at Amazon is $1.99; the price at Christianbook is $1.59.
