Series creates a collection and books in taht collection are ordered by series index (provided you send all the books int he series to the device at once).

There is no mention of the upward pointing arrow to Eject Device next to the Sony Reader Icon in the manual! Might want to include that. With an earlier version of calibre I had multiple instances of the main reader memory and the storage card left in /Media. With the latest version 0.6.10 that seems fixed!

First, I have to said that I like very much calibre!

I have a question :

Can I import ALL news of a website with rss? For example, the website http://carfree.free.fr/ have 1639 news on its database. Can I download them all with calibre to read them on my cybook? Actualy I can catch maximum 20 of them.

The maximum number of news is set in the recipe. You can probably edit it and change that.

That may be all that is in the feed.

Nope. But, sometimes there is an archive feed.

Sorry if this is a redundant question and if this is the wrong area to post this. Buying my PRS505 tomorrow. Here is the question. I have read about Calibre but I don't understand if it is meant to replace the Sony software or can both be used? I know with the Sony software I can download a book I purchase from the Sony/Google book store. Can I also do the same with Calibre along with everything else it does of course.

Also will Calibre run under Win 7 64 bit.

No. Calibre doesn't interface with any eBooks stores.

Yes, it will run as a 32-bit app on Win7 64-bit.

I ran into some trouble with the Sony software crashing if books were added manually to the reader, and even the reader itself crashing (I have a PRS-600) if you fiddle with it. Calibre seems to adhere pretty well to the library standards used by Sony so they probably can be used complementary, but really, I found Sony's software so incredibly irritating and useless that I've switched entirely to Calibre. Being european, Sony did not do much more than add a link to a webshop for purchases, so no big loss there either.
