I have this aforementioned energy ereader pro case and it has a good fit. I can't say much about the durability, since I used it just 3 weeks.

Does anyone know of a case, with a built in stand, that fits this ereader?

Has anyone figured out how to make Overdrive work correctly without cutting off pages? Part of what I liked about this device was the ease I thought handling library books would be. They're easy to check out; reading is another story entirely.

Install the Xposed App Settings module to change the dpi in the Overdrive app only. Don't change it in build.prop or you will have to use adb to put it back. I use different ones depending on the font size of the book - 218, 224, 232, 240 is what I've used so far. Overdrive is aware of the problem but can't figure out how to fix it.

There's been a Firmware Update for Boyue T62+ aka T62D

If you have this model, go to "Settings > About device > System update > Check Update Version" and download the newer version.

The older fw version was "Boyue-Ereader_V1.0.0-20150209..", this will update it to the newer version "Boyue-Ereader_V1.1.1-2015040111".

They seem to have fixed many bugs in the software. Also a lot of issues with the front-light and touchscreen responsiveness in some menus are now totally fixed on my device.

It was sometimes not easy to move between pages in the "Apps" menu using the touch screen, which works much faster and without a single problem now!

Also the front-light at the lowest levels (the 3 first levels on the bightness-level indicator bar) was a little bit unstable (it used to sometimes get brighter or darker). It seemed as if the software controller for the front-light system couldn't decide the exact level of brightness to remain on at the lowest levels (there were no such problems at levels 4+). This is also fixed in this new firmware update now and I don't see any flickers (or whatever you may call them) at even the lowest front-light level!

I love this device even more now with these fixes (especially the front-light issue getting fixed is such a good news for me cuz my eyes don't like high brightness levels on any screen!)

My device is doing exactly the same but I already updated it to the V1.1.1-2015040111 version. Can you confirm that this is not happening to you anymore after some more hours of use?

Yeah you're right, it's still happening but very much less often than before and seems like it's now happening in the first 2 lowest brightness levels only (out of the 24 levels available except 0 which turns off the front-light)!

Also I noticed that it now doesn't happen on static pages and system menus. for example I don't see those flickers (or whatever you may call it) while reading books on Moon+ Reader Pro or other apps, but it happens sometimes while using an app like Firefox!

I just increase the brightness level to 3+ to not encounter this while using Firefox for example, where it happens more often.

But overall the whole device works and responds better after this update. This issue also happens much less often than before which is good; I've not yet seen any 'flicker' happen while reading reflowed text on Moon+ Reader Pro (in the lowest brightness level or level 2). As I said, I think this happens more often while using apps that do more page-refreshes or display less "static" content!

Hello, I am Boyue T62D. My Rom is in trouble. Can I install the Rom Energisy Sistem Pro?
Thank you!

Ok, thanks for confirming this. Is exactly how mine is behaving! Good to know that I don't have a faulty device. They might fix it in a future update and in any case its not such a big issue. Overall I am really happy with the device!

The firmware update has changed the lowest brightness setting to an eye-wateringly bright level on my device. I'm hoping that a future firmware update will set the minimum brightness to a lower level.

Question Weight of T62+

I've seen the T62+ listed on a number of sites as 173g, but have also seen suggestions that the nearly-identical T62 was quite a bit heavier than that. Can anybody with a T62+ and access to a reasonably accurate set of scales confirm/correct this figure?

My kitchen scale (which I believe to be reasonably accurate) reports 221g. I have the T62D, aka the T62+.

Thanks, I was afraid of that.

221g for mines too, also T62D/T62+

It's 298g in the case for it from Banggood if that's relevant
