I just installed this hack on my brand new Kobo Aura Edition 2, but it seems that it doenst work?

This hack needs a modified kernel. No-one has created this for the newer devices or firmware. I think people lost interest in it when Kobo added the light adjustment by sliding your finger along the left edge of the screen.
