In relation to books it's a promo tour around various different blogs (kind of like the author touring book stores!) - some will have reviews, some will have excerpts, Q&As, interviews, etc. Often there are giveaways on individual blogs and/or one big 'tour' giveaway.

Note to self, do not add books to Calibre until Copy is reinstalled.

I was waiting to hear back from Copy.com after the reformat since I had set up my Copy folder using shortcuts. But I wanted to work on my books so went ahead and added them. I also moved some books from my main library to my "vault" library (where I keep books not on my Sony).

Long story short, when Copy synced it readded all the files. Thankfully it not delete any of the new stuff. And thank goodness for Calibre's Check Library function. It made finding the duplicates easy.

So now <knock on wood> my PC is 100% back up and running. This has been an adventure I never want to take again



Also FYI for anyone who bought Colby Hodge's Stargazer check your copy. The one I bought from Kobo was a formatting nightmare. Chapters four and five were missing and chapter headings appeared in the middle of paragraphs. I ended up just deleting it and Kobo gave me a refund.

I bought mine from Amazon and I just checked. Looks like all the chapters are there, at least as far as I went, I stopped around 12 or so. The chapter headings are at the top for each start of chapter, but not really separated from the text much. Its also at a fixed font I hate, san serif, but I can fix that by running it through calibre and send "old mobi" to my PW.

I guess this can happen when we just jump on these sales. I been pretty lucky though thankfully, other than some not knowing how not to set the text at a horrible fixed font. I just can't read at bold san serif.

You should contact her and let her know. Her website is here I am sure she would want to fix it. I've seen to many authors on Facebook when they found a out something went wrong immediately fix it.

I also got mine from Amazon and it looks okay.

Hey fellow Swagbuckers, did you know Kobo was one of their reward stores? Supposedly they pay 4SB per dollar spent at Kobo. I've yet to see any rewards for shopping but I gave it a try.

Edit: I also just noticed they have Kobo e-Gift Cards in their rewards store. I wonder if they can actually fulfill them now that Kobo isn't offering them on their own site?
