I'd love to have "tap everywhere to page forward, swipe to go back". It's a very rare thing that I want to go a page or two back. I dislike swiping, but if I have to use it once every 500 or so page turns, I wouldn't mind. There are lots of settings/options they could offer... if they wanted to...

I would be very happy if the tap to go backwards was moved to the top of the display and tap to go forwards was the rest of the display. I would be most happy if this was an option so that people wouldn't blame me if they didn't like it.

They changed the layout of the homescreen a gazillion times, removed perfectly working features, changed the UI and symbols used, shifted this and that menu from here to there - maybe I'm a bit naive but I can't imagine that it's so hard to offer a few more tap zone choices. I was hoping that the Aura would have (or get) more tap zone options since it's marketed as a premium ereader for people that read a lot and... well, instead of that I can play a game of Solitaire (and though I like it, I would have prefered tap zone options ). For me, that's the one thing that makes my Kobos a bit uncomfortable to use.

Do people really change their brightness to different levels that often? I have mine set to about 25%, and I just use the button to turn it on or off. I don't think I have ever changed it to a different level.

When playing Solitaire I need brighter light, when reading manga or PDF as well. In low light situations I need more light than in absolute darkness. I adjust my brightness setting at least 3 times a day.

Well... I guess Kobo likes extra taps/removing easy access options. There used to be a firmware version where you had some options in the dictionary pop-up. I never understood why they changed that. Yeah, well... after your description I deduced it was something around that number. (I thought you - or whoever might have answered - might have missed my first question, so I asked about the number of taps, sorry about that.)
