If you are running manual management, just resend. No need to delete them first.

Server is very slow

BTW, the download server for beta version is extremely slow. It's couple of hours already and still downloading.

Info for when you get your second wind, no pressure...

Have briefly tested today's release with WinXP, TimeZone:London. No testing done using SD card.

Good news:
I no longer have any duplicates in Collections.
Books appear to be stored in the correct Collections.
All thumbnails now seem to 'stick'. Have tried EPUB, PDF and TXT.
All saved file paths correct as per send-to-device save template
Not-so-good news:
Plugboard assigns do not 'stick' for EPUB and PDF, but they do for TXT

Win7, 64bit. NYC Time Zone.

Using a 1GB MicroSD. Everything seems fine...
(Was seeing deleted collection lists and other stuff.)

THANKS, Kolenka.

Transfer and collections work fine

Many Thanks Kolenka and Kovid

Regular transfer and collections work fine with latest version (on Windows 7).

Just a quick note as I am a newbie to this. I cannot add documents from my device to the library. This is the report and please ignore if this is irrelevant to this topic.

That was working a couple days ago on my box, looks like a change broke something on 10/10:

"Device drivers: Add a prepare_addable_books API method"

I don't see any reason why it should break this driver specifically. Kovid, any insight?

Thanks Kolenka and kovidgoyal for all your work on this!

I've just done some preliminary testing and it looks as though everything works on Win7.

Transfers are fast with minimal T1 processing on disconnect,
Thumbnails for EPUB's are generated,
Collections work,
The weirdness between Library view and Device view is fixed,
Books on the T1 are all checked in the Library view,
The SD card is detected and collections are built on it,
Series work and are sorted in order (use Added Order sort),
Simple plugboards (see below) work,

{title} ({pubdate}) MAPS TO --> title
{author_sort} MAPS TO --> authors

My Sony PRS-T1 just became so much more valuable to me.

Thanks again!

I'm curious, are you using device_db? Kolenka indicated this should work with device PRST1 or something like that.

If they aren't sticking, then he is using device_db. I'm working with him to figure out why the timestamps are incorrect in his case.

Right now it seems to be limited to folks east of UTC.

Sorry, force of habit. I've e-mailed back a couple questions in response to your mail. Let me know when you can get to them.

FYI.

I am pretty bummed that I couldn't get the mp3 working (shuffle/continuous play across albums.) So I used Itunes to name most of my songs to a common album name and have 3000+ songs to a single album.

And it worked.

So on top of the driver, things are awesome with the T1!
